Go on a tour to Shikoku for free!

Important Notice: This giveaway has ended. Thanks for playing, and stay tuned for the next one! Click here to go back to JAPANiCAN.com.

Going to be in Kyoto on November 9 and have several days of free time? Let us give you something to occupy that free time: a 4-day guided package tour of the scenic Iya Valley and Seto Inland Sea areas of Shikoku!

The tour includes round-trip transportation from Kyoto, transportation during the tour, professional guide service, accommodations, and some meals. You’ll visit Naoshima, Takamatsu, Iya Valley, the Naruto whirlpools, and more before returning to Kyoto. For more details, check out the tour’s details page.

The Catch

So what’s expected of you in return? Almost nothing, actually. If selected, you will be participating in this tour as a monitor tour, so all you’ll have to do is kick back, enjoy yourself, and fill out a simple survey at the end of the trip for the tour operator.

Other than that, all we ask is that you share some pictures and comments with us on Facebook and/or Twitter. Deal? Deal.

Finally, and this is important, please note that to be eligible, you must be able to join the tour from Kyoto on November 9, 2010. Sorry, but we can’t change the date or starting location.

Entering to Win

We know you’re chomping at the bit to find out how to enter. There are two spots available, so we’ll be choosing one winner from entrants on Facebook and one winner from entrants on Twitter. If you’d like to better your chances, feel free to enter on both. Here’s how:

Entering on Facebook in 2 easy steps (Wow!):
1. Become our fan on Facebook.
2. Write on our wall to let us know you want to check out Shikoku.

Entering on Twitter in 2 easy steps (Amazing!):
1. Follow us on Twitter.
2. Retweet our post about the giveaway.

Well that was easy. Entries will be accepted until October 19 at noon (Japan Standard Time), at which point we will randomly select and contact the winners.

Entries must be received by October 19, 2010 at noon (Japan Standard Time). One winner each will be chosen at random from all entrants on Facebook and Twitter. To be eligible, you must be able to participate in the full tour from Kyoto on the morning of November 9, 2010, which ends back in Kyoto in the evening on November 12, 2010. If you win, are eligible, and participate in this tour, by accepting the prize you agree to complete a survey for the tour operator. You also agree to provide at least 3 photos from the tour and comments regarding the tour totaling 25 words or more, to be used by JAPANiCAN on Facebook and Twitter.

Whew, that about does it. Good luck!
